The 68 Vette looks a lot like the Mako shark prototype. I decided to make my own version of a Mako with sheet plastic. I wanted to lower the front, so I had to remove part of the fenders and the hood. I filled in the fenders with plastic and added some flares for the rear tires. I made an opening in the hood for the engine. I tried to make the rear end look as close to a shark's tail as I could. I made louvres for the rear window, which looks like gills.
