I bought a 1937 Ford pickup model and liked the kit so much that I decided to buy another one and build one almost stock and then rat rod the other. Here I created a skull grille out of clay and spider webbing out of thread. I made a clay rat, but decided to cuten it up and put big ears on it. To rat rod it, I chopped the roof, slammed the body down and simulated rust by painting it first red, then green and blotting off the green to reveal the red underneath: To illustrate the difference in trucks, here they are together: Return to Rat Rods Car Models page
