Main Course - Beef

Tasty Grilled Steak

I normally use fillets because I like my steak tender and lean, but any cut will work.
Squirt on Worchestershire sauce and sprinkle with Greek seasoning to both sides of steak.
Sear steak on both sides on grill. On thicker cuts of beef, lower heat and continue to cook.

Tasty Burger

This is a quick way to grill a burger with a lot of taste.
Only use hamburger that has 20% fat. (Otherwise your burger will be tasteless.)
Squirt some Worchestershire sauce or soy sauce into the meat.
Sprinkle minced onions into the meat, then form the patty.
Put burger on a hot grill and cook to desired doneness.

Cheese Steak

The problem I have with most places that serve cheese steaks is that they never burn the onions.
I hate raw onions. My recipe naturally calls for burnt onions.
I only use Philly Gourmet Steaks for my frozen cheese steak meat.
Just add the meat to the already cooked onions, stir, add a slice of American cheese and
serve on a toasted bun.

Beef Strokin' Off

This is one of my easy to make staples.
Brown a small package of hamburger in a frying pan, then add in a package of beef
flavored Rice-a-Roni. After the rice and flavor package have cooked, remove from heat
and add a tablespoon of sour cream. Stir and serve with some sauteed Brussels sprouts.

Beef Burrito

The meat for the burrito is the same as the taco:
Fry 1 pound of hamburger with 2 tablespoons of minced onion in a frying pan.
Drain the grease,
add 4 tablespoons of chili powder,
2 tablespoons of flour,
1.5 teaspons of cumin,
and 1 cup of water.
Let this simmer for an hour.
Next, put a serving in a bowl with a tablespoon of salsa, chopped jalapenos,
with a handful of Mexican cheese on top and microwave until the cheese is melted.
While the microwave is running, toast a flour burrito.
I prefer to broil the burrito in the oven for a few seconds.
Pour the contents from the bowl onto the torilla and fold.

Beef Stir Fry

First, I fry up some lean steak in sesame oil and roasted garlic.
Next, I remove the cooked meat and put in my stir fry sauce:
1 tablespoonspoon of Szchezuan Spicy Stir Fry sauce,
1 tablespoon of Teriyaki sauce,
1 teaspoon of my Asian hot sauce (recipe is under Misc),
2 tablespoons of Soy sauce.
I add back in the cooked meat and other stir fry vegetables and cook about 2 minutes.
Serve with rice.
(I prefer just broccoli, shredded carrots and peanuts - left photo),
(My wife likes mushrooms, zuchini, snow peas and peanuts - right photo).

Beef Stir Fry with Noodles

This recipe is the same as the Beef Stir Fry with rice,
except you use noodles instead of rice, and you cook the noodles in the pan.
I prefer the capellini spaghetti noodles. Boil the noodles, drain, then add to the pan.

Italian Burger

Grill your hamburger to your liking, then add:
provolone cheese, sauteed onions and peppers.

Tacos

My wife and I both prefer our tacos in a non-traditional manner;
my wife likes hers laid out flat and I like mine in a bowl.
The meat for the taco is the same as the burrito:
Fry 1 pound of hamburger with 2 tablespoons of minced onion in a frying pan.
Drain the grease,
add 4 tablespoons of chili powder,
2 tablespoons of flour,
1.5 teaspons of cumin,
and 1 cup of water.
Let this simmer for an hour.

For the more traditional taco, add the meat mixture to the taco shell,
along with some salsa, Mexican cheese, chopped tomatoes and lettuce.
For my own version, I put the taco meat mixture in a bowl
with a tablespoon of salsa, chopped jalapenos, and a handful of Mexican cheese.
I microwave the contents until the cheese is melted and serve with taco shells.

Steak Fajita

Fry some lean steak in a frying pan with
a tablespoon of sesame oil,
a teaspoon of cumin and
a teaspoon of chili powder.
Add in some precooked onions.
Next, broil a flour tortilla for a few seconds and place on a plate.
Add the steak and onions, along with some salsa and Mexican cheese.
Fold and eat.

===============================================================

EZ Spaghetti Sauce

All you need is some hamburger meat and sauce and your meal is ready to go.
Brown a pound of hamburger meat in a sauce pan.
Drain the grease, then add a jar of Classico Roasted Garlic sauce.
Simmer for 15 minutes and pour over your favorite pasta.
===============================================================

Hamburger Steak

Form hamburger patties with a sprinkle of onion bits and fry in a pan.
When fully cooked, reduce to simmer and add a jar of beef gravy.
Serve with mashed potatoes and a veggie.
===============================================================

Shit on a Shingle

In a frying pan, melt a tablespoon of butter and add a package of dried beef.

Add a can of evaporated milk and serve over toast.
===============================================================

Hawaiian Burger

Mix in Teryaki sauce with 80% ground hamburger and grill. Also grill pineapple slices
marinated in Teryaki sauce for a few minutes.
